Managing an email list should not be more difficult than it has to be. (Nor more expensive.)
Over the years I have used a variety of services to create autoresponder series, broadcast updates and announcements to my website subscribers.
In terms of basic functions, most of them are very similar.
The key differences lie in user experience, and pricing.
The two services I would recommend at this time are AWeber and ActiveCampaign.
Aweber is the less expensive option, and perfect for beginners. The user experience is top rate, and very well thought out. Aweber provides everything you need to get your email list campaigns up and running quickly and easily.
ActiveCampaign has more advanced features and also includes a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) module as well so it is perfect for studios planning to make sales calls as well. It is more expensive, and has a slightly steeper learning curve, but will do the job for any size list.
Overall, both of these choices will suit your needs. Choosing ActiveCampaign however, will eliminate the need to upgrade to a more feature rich service as you are further along in your growth curve. So in the end, the slight increase in cost can save you time in the long run.
